We had a lovely foggy morning last week.  The sun burned it off very quickly, but not before I grabbed this shot off of our kitchen balcony.

We are blessed to have a front row viewing of the Howell Balloonfest, right off of our back balcony.  Here are a few of the highlight’s from this year’s Friday night launch!  These pictures were all captured with my 24-70 lens, so no crazy telephoto shots here.  These balloons were very close to us!

I have exactly one belly shot from my first pregnancy (at 40+ weeks, no less) and one from my second pregnancy.  Not sure why I never got into taking the weekly, or even monthly, picture of my ever expanding midsection, but I just don’t feel the need.

However, I had an idea a few weeks ago and I found myself with some time, energy, and inspiration to try it out today.  The result isn’t exactly what I’ve been picturing in my mind (although it is close), so I’ll have to do some tweaking to my setup and have another go at it in a few weeks.
